If you’ve ever read the book The Game or watched VH1’s television show The Pick Up Artist, you may have heard of Mystery.

One of the self-proclaimed greatest pick up artists in the world, Mystery has been teaching seduction and pick up since 2003. He was the first to pioneer the “workshop” method of taking men out into the field and showing them how to get chicks.

With the success of his show and break-out into the mainstream media, he released a product called Mind Of Mystery.

The product was a joint venture with a man named Mike Long, who runs the Area 51 Lifestyle website.

Mind Of Mystery sold for around $2500.

What you got when you ordered the product was a $2500 piece of crap.

First of all, Mike Long and Area 51 Lifestyle took part in some very shady marketing tactics – blately misleading ones at that.

The picture of the course, seen below, clearly shows that the product looks very professional.

Unfortuneately, the actual product looks NOTHING like that picture.

Not only that, the production quality of the product was horrible. The DVDs had no chapter breaks at all, so you couldn’t skip through the DVDs to get to the sections you wanted.

Not only that, but it’s blatently obvious that both Mystery and Mike Long are stoned or high while they are recording some of these videos.

Talk about unprofessional.

Customer Service for Area 51 is also very sketchy. There have been reports that refund requests were not heeded. (And let’s face it, $2500 is a lot not to get back if you’re unhappy!)

After doing some digging, it’s also apparent that Mike Long has a history of shady business practices.

He was kicked out of his former profession, as a professional Magic The Gathering player, for alleged cheating, and banned from competition.

There are also rumors of fraud in some of his internet marketing efforts in the home business opportunity field.

After losing all credibility in that market, he somehow hooked up with Mystery and weasled his way into the success of his brand.

After the Mind Of Mystery fiasco, Mystery’s company apparently parted ways with Area 51 Lifestyle. But that hasn’t stopped Mike Long from selling more poor quality products and videos of Mystery without his permission.

It’s obvious Mike Long is just looking to take people’s money and run, like he has in other markets he’s been in. He cares nothing for product quality or customer service, and is now resorting to ripping off other people’s materials to keep his business going.

His website does not even have a privacy policy or terms of service agreement. (Always a bad sign!)

Because of his poor reputation, blatently misleading marketing, and bad business practices, we are recommending you STAY AWAY from Area 51 Lifestyle at all costs.

Do not sign up for their newsletter, do not buy their products – unless you like getting shoddy merchandise for a super-high inflated price.

Final Verdict: SCAM! STAY AWAY!!!!
